Answers & Questions

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions that are not covered below or if you wish to discuss any matter further.

Can I change the colour of your design to fit my own wedding colours?

Most of my designs can be easily changed to your own colours with no extra change. Please contact me with your specific requirements.

Can I change the size of the card?

Yes all my ranges can be altered to fit whatever size card you prefer. For example you can change from a “tall” card to a “square” card or a “postcard” style. Please see “How To Customise” for further product options.

How can I reduce the cost to fit my budget?

There are many ways to reduce costs but as each wedding is so individual it is easier to advise you personally, so please contact me with your requirements.

To give you some examples:

  • you could change the shape or style of the card to a flat card or a postcard
  • you could opt for a more basic Evening Invitation, allowing you to spend more on the Day Invites
  • you could remove some or all of the glitter/ sequins/ diamante/ ribbons

Can I order a sample?

Yes, you can order a sample of anything from the website. Samples are charged at the full rate and will be refunded against your final order. (Up to a maximum of 2 samples will be refunded).

Samples will be supplied to you in the same colour and format as they appear on this website.

What are the timescales for ordering my wedding stationery?

  • Save the date cards – these are normally sent out as soon as the date has been set. Particularly if the wedding date falls on a bank holiday or over busy holiday times. So order these as soon as you can.
  • Invitations, RSVP cards and information cards – these are usually sent out by you to your guests 6-8 weeks before your wedding. So you need to order these 12-20 weeks before your wedding date.
  • Order of service, place cards, favour tags, menus, table numbers, table plans and thank you cards – these can be left until closer to your wedding allowing you time to collect all your information. So you need to order these 4-6 weeks before your wedding date.

If you prefer you can order all of your stationery in one go and just leave some of the details until nearer the date. It is always best to do the entire order in one print run, however I appreciate that this is not always possible therefore if you order items separately every effort will be made to ensure continuity of print colours.

How many invitations should I order?

You won’t need one for each guest, one per couple or family is usual. Don’t forget to order a few spare invitations in case of forgotten family/friends or any regretful RSVP’s or in case you make a few mistakes!

When ordering Order of Service booklets it is usual for one per guest but if your budget doesn’t stretch that far one per couple is fine. You should ensure the wedding party has one booklet each though.

How long will my stationery take to arrive after I’ve placed my ordered?

Please allow between 4-6 weeks depending on the design.

If you want to place your order but do not need your stationery that early you can arrange to have a later delivery time.

If your order is urgent please contact me before placing the order to ensure it can be done in time.

How do I decide what wording to use?

You can have a look at the suggested wording page and use any of these examples. Or you can slightly amend any of the examples to suit your requirements. The internet has lots of examples too. If you already have your own wording that you’d like to use just let me know.
